Roch Smith makes an online query about Agenda item 13 set for tomorrow night’s Greensboro City Council meeting:

I assume it’s related to the airport’s desire for $4.6 million in incentives from Greensboro and Guilford County for infrastructure improvements that could spur job growth around the FedEx hub.

Admittedly the figures are different: the article states PTI will seek $2.8 million from the city, while the council apparently will only consider $1.5 million tomorrow night. Either the city will pull funds from another source, or has decided it can only offer partial funding (is that possible) or the funds are for something totally different. Who the hell knows— at the latest we’ll find out tomorrow night.
