While Guilford County’s proposed sales tax hike is getting a fair amount of attention, it turns out next-door neighbor Alamance County is proposing a sales tax hike of its own.
JLF research director Michael Sanera says the tax hike “has all the appearances of a straight-out money grab from taxpayers.”
They wouldn’t do that, would they?
