The N&R follows up yesterday’s Rhino article on Guilford County Commissioner Steve Arnold possibly taking the newly-created county ‘construction czar’ position when he leaves office after the November election.
Bottom line is Arnold’s broke and needs money and his buddies Skip Alston and Brenda Jones Fox are helping him out. My suggestion was Arnold just become a full-time commissioner so he can be the best commissioner there ever was. But that just doesn’t pay enough.
