Another item on the ballot trends shows that voters want more money for higher education institutions. Voters in Arkansas, California, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and Wyoming all passed measures that would increase funding or provide bond packages for higher education institutions in those states.
One interesting measure was one in Nevada where voters approved Question 1 by a near 10 point margain. Question 1 would require the state legislature to appropriate enough fund K-12 education before funds can be spent on any other program in the state.
