Here’ what jumps out at me when reading McClatchy’s account of the John Edwards indictment:
In one example, the indictment said, Baron, now deceased, slipped Edwards’ campaign aide $1,000 in an envelope that said, “Old Chinese saying: use cash, not credit cards!”
As I’ve said before, no matter how bad you think it is now, or how bad you thought it was under George Bush, we should all thank heaven this dude is nowhere near the presidency. That some people thought he should be is downright scary.
