I first read about Bill Flynn and Pam Furr’s apparent departure from Rush Radio over at Ed Cone’s, while Sam Spagnola speculates “that 94.5 will follow the WZTK formula and have one morning show cover the Triad and Triangle markets by simultaneously broadcasting the morning show from sister station 106.1 WRDU on 94.5.” I hope that doesn’t happen, but I can’t imagine where they’re going to find local conservative radio talent here in G’boro.

I thought Bill and Pam did a decent job analyzing local issues, from a conservative point of view, but I can’t say I regarded their morning show as ‘must hear’ radio. Personally, I don’t care for the two-man radio booth, just as I don’t care for the three-man booth during football telecasts. Too many voices serve to distract rather than inform.
