The SC-Clemson game was the last game of the
year and both teams were 6-5. I think there is a very good chance
that Miami would have made the same decision, if in the same situation.
I think Miami should suspend several of their players for the
rest of the year, regardless of the impact on the team and its bowl
chances.
On a side note unrelated to fighting, if Miami was 6-5,
they would be far less appealing to the bowls (not television) than a
6-5 Clemson or 6-5 SC. Miami doesn’t travel well whereas SC and
Clemson would bring in thousands of fans.
