Here are my comments on the above:

1. Daren is a fine and commendable fellow, as evidenced by his recent award.

2. Despite the rantings of Cordato, or, as Jon Ham suggests by analogy, despite behavior that is “[w]ild, eccentric and fueled by copious amounts of drugs and alcohol,” I’m not taking on the financial responsibility of further education or the like for ‘young’ Daren.

3. As for the upcoming holidays, gifts for the holidays, and which holidays, we’ll see. Daren seems somewhat topsy-turvy himself on this point (short gift lists, please, I have another actual child).

4. Roy is herewith fired (as in –get thee gone). Sorry that he has to learn about this on the blog, but it is the 21st century, Roy. Get over it.

5. In lieu of (4.) above, a $2 mil. bond against all future misbehavior, or any behavior, really, may be negotiable. Otherwise, again a la Hunter, you can” [watch] the rest of the decade drown in a sea of drugs and despair.” On the up side, that beats most TV shows.

5. I’m not sure how Ham discovered the similarities, but Roy in his Greek fisherman’s cap and leg brace, and the eerily similar descriptions Ham offers are haunting:
“Always sporting a fisherman?s cap, aviator glasses and a cigarette holder stuffed with a Dunhill while mumbling incoherently and gesticulating wildly,” and “…years of crippling back and hip surgery compounded by continued pain from a broken leg,” and strike uncomfortably close.

6. I don’t know what ‘vitamins’ Roy was on when he penned that blog, but I think the warning is entirely warranted, Jon.

7. Daren-I’ve just seen your DNA blog. Good luck on that wish list (if Mom says no, ask Daddy).
