agree that violence can be disturbing without bloodshed. I was
responding to the claim that the film was graphically violent.
Just an observation: Graphic violence, even if silly violence, draws
the ire of the ratings board, whereas non-graphic violence that may be
far more disturbing isn’t as big of a deal. I don’t know if this
makes much sense, but therein lies the nature of regulating (or in this
case self-regulating) content.
