Roy, I’d like to give you even more recent examples of what your link discusses. Consider the frenetic attacks on Gov. Sarah Palin and her family this weekend.

They are right in line with what North Carolina’s “definitive Democratic insider” admitted ? i.e., that “liberals … can?t always say exactly what they believe ? and still get elected.”

What do liberals believe? Well, among other things:

  • That a woman is more than just being a mom at home.
  • That a woman is every bit as qualified to hold public office as a man.
  • That premarital sex and sex by teenagers is normal, natural, and to be celebrated.
  • That a woman should have a choice over whether she keeps her baby.
  • That’s is nobody’s business to question that choice.

And here they are, pretending ? to get elected by tearing down Gov. Palin and her family ? that they actually believe:

  • A woman (Palin) cannot responsibly be more than a mother in her home.
  • A woman (Palin) who is a mother of small children must not hold public office and must step aside so that to a man (Obama) who is a father of small children, can hold higher office.
  • That premarital sex by a teenager (Palin’s daughter) is terrible, awful, and indeed so horrible that the mother must be hounded off the national stage.
  • That a woman (Palin’s daughter) should have had the abortion.
  • That a woman (Palin) should have had the abortion.
  • That is is in the national interest and the common good to denounce them both for their choices.

It’s all to serve their religion. Getting elected.
