Thank you for that link Mr. Ham. As an un-affiliated and independent observer – I thought I might point out the correlation between property rights abuses and the blue states…. Coincidence?
I have gotten in touch with The Castle Coalition to see if they have a network established within North Carolina. There seems to be plenty of opportunity to see them have a larger presence in the state. I also sent them information about recent takings in NC that raised eyebrows. (Including the Matthews situation where the?local government forcibly?took most of the 70 acres owned by an 82 year old war hero in order to make a new park.)
Especially with Rep. Bruce Goforth (D-Buncombe) and Rep Wilma Sherrill (R-Buncombe) co-chairing a House Select Committee on the issue of Em. Domain powers in NC right now, I think it would be prudent to highlight more of the work this organization has been doing around the country. I will be doing my part to make sure people in the mountain counties know about them.
