In response to Chad, you don’t have to imagine a 40-percent
failure rate in any government endeavor to understand why there are no
massive resignations from DPI or other education bureaucracies. The
public, parents especially, clearly see the problems, and are well
aware of the many alternatives they have to educate their children,
like private schools, homeschooling, alternative schools, relocating
(now there’s a novel idea), etc. But what kinds of things do they do
instead?

They vote another $1 billion to that proven failure.
