I’ll just point to Triadwatch’s comment in this thread on the city’s $10,000 GoogleGreensboro blog:
If this wasn’t so serious it would be laughable on the part of the city, amazing waste of government money …where the local bloggers were doing this all for free.
Not to mention the city’s media partner, which has provided a little free publicity in what passed for a front-page story.
“And there’s no doubt,” the N&R writes, “the corporate name alone would attract scores of other companies curious about what made Greensboro special.”
