America has a splendid tradition of civil disobedience to laws that were unjust and immoral. The Stamp Act crashed and burned as a result of civil disobedience. Jim Crow separatism and discrimination was undone in large measure by civil disobedience.
I’m with John. If the regime manages to inflict its authoritarian monstrosity on the nation, those among us who value freedom must look for every possible way to escape its clutches. Just as the Soviet Union (see my previous post) had a huge underground economy that illegally produced and traded all sorts of goods and information, the same thing can happen in the US. And during the colonial period, many Americans illegally purchased and sold goods produced in countries other than England.
People don’t like being ordered around and dictated to. That’s one more thing the Obamacrats have overlooked.
