Perhaps we should thank the 9th Circuit for making it clear to parents that any idea that they have any rights once they have enrolled a child in a government school — this decision wipes away the notion that the “public” has anything to do with them except pay taxes — is completely mistaken. The 9th Circuit may have inadvertently caused more parents to make sure their children never go through that door.
