I recommend reading Lindsley’s article. It’s an excellent eye-opener and really underscores Professor Roger Shattuck’s comment that more and more parents and perhaps even some administrators are coming to see that college is an oversold boondoggle.
But remember, according to the recent “Report Card” on higher education in the US, unless we somehow can get lots more young Americans into college, our economic future will be in jeopardy!
