Regarding the Meet the Press discussion on using force to liberate other countires, the question is to what extent is it ok to abridge the freedom of some in order to liberate others. Is it moral to violate the rights of American citizens via increased taxation and, in past instances, conscription, in order to enhance the freedoms of those in in other countries. Not surprisingly this is a question that neither Grassly or Rangle would consider meaningful because neither of them consider taxation a violation of individual rights.
