Despite people’s philosophy on the min. wage – the ultimate “let them eat cake” decision was handed down by legislators last week. Two weeks after saying that a $1 increase to the min. wage was not appropriate for workers across NC, the House approved a min. wage for state workers of $9.67. “Joe Six Pack” may not understand the economics of the min. wage fully but they sure understand “good enough for us but not good enough for you.”
The majority in Raleigh continues to alienate themselves further and further from the working people of NC.
