This certainly sounds like the kind of “monkey business” that we have come to expect from the North Carolina General Assembly.
But I do not get why the Republicans even bothered with amendments and motions if they planned to vote for the state health plan bailout bill anyway. In the end, nearly all of the Republicans in the House voted to support the plan!
Sounds like a case of “rag doll Republicans” to me.
