Anyway, I totally believe you when you say traffic is much improved post Big Dig, because it couldn’t have gotten much worse. But did they HAVE TO TUNNEL UNDER NEARLY THE WHOLE CITY to solve the problem?! They could have built a much cheaper boondoggle, don’t you think?
And by the way, as a Boston fan, I am glad they aren’t saddled with A-Rod’s contract, and it doesn’t bother me in the least (well, OK, maybe in the least, but not in the next-to-least) that the Yankees got him. It will be better for the Sox’s payroll flexibility in the long run.
Finally, I prefer the Gah-den to the Fleet Cen-tah — check the history books to see where the championship banners were won!
