At least light rail tracks don’t function as well as homeless shelters as subways.
According to a Washington Metro
official, the lack of a market for rail systems is a problem:
“…because we don’t have that equipment in storage, it would cost
several millions of dollars and take months and months to fix.”
That’s one thing you don’t have to worry about with a Hobbit car or an SUV.
