I guess I should clarify. The photo below is of a real group that played in coffee houses in the greater Wichita Fall, Texas, area in 1966-67. We were all in the Air Force at the time, which accounts for the non-’60s hair length. I guess I should have said the fake album cover was a joke, not the group, though some audiences may have disagreed. As Steve Skaggs, the guy on the left, used to say when playing fiddle: “I use the bow-and-error approach.” Ba-dum-bum!
