Just as Neil Young turned back to his “Harvest” album before recording the similar “Harvest Moon” 20 years later, he likely looked back to his single “Ohio” (“Tin soldiers and Nixon’s coming…”) before deciding to record this new album blasting a Republican president.
It will likely interest those who make up the bulk of his fan base. But as the late great Ronnie Van Zant once sang, “I hope Neil Young will remember, a Southern man don’t need him around anyhow.”
