Consider: Once citizens find out they have the “right” to be protected from “aesthetic blight,” they will sue and win against public-supported artists cra[ft]ing depictions of the Virgin Mary out of elephant dung and, worse for them, go against the visually unappealing statists (and they tend to be visually unappealing) themselves. Statists and relativists really don’t want neo-Platonism to gain a legal foothold here ? opposed as they are in general to the True, the Good, and the Beautiful!
