Up in Virginia, the election for the governorship has a lot to do with state employees. As Kim Strassel reports in her WSJ column today, Big Labor is pulling out all the stops for Creigh Deeds. The unions want to continue looting the rest of us through political clout and Deeds is their lapdog.

There’s one mistake in the column, though. Strassel writes that Virginia is the most northerly right to work state. It isn’t, by a long stretch. North Dakota and Idaho are RTW states, way up at the Canadian border. Other RTW states north of VA are South Dakota, Iowa, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Utah, Kansas, and Nevada are at roughly the same latitude.
