Attila and Temujin (who took the title of Genghis Khan, or Khan of all between the oceans) used physical force to take what belonged to others. They disdained their people?s involvement in business (though they welcomed trade). Attila resented and destroyed traditional Roman learning and culture. They were clearly leftists. From now on, we should say that ?so-and-so is just to the left of Attila the Hun? and smile knowingly.
