Shannon, I don’t mean to detract from the effort by your Mountaineers. They shot the lights out. But you’d agree we did nothing differently defensively the entire game. Both coaches spoke of how similar our offenses are. One coach mixed defenses and finally settled on a zone, which serves as an antidote to three-point shots and backdoor cuts. The other stayed with the man-to-man and got shellacked by three-point shots and backdoor cuts.
