So I’m just wondering if this school is approved to become a UNC
institution what the name of the school will be. You know that UNC will
not want to remember the life of John Wesley,
the founder of the Methodist tradition, by keeping the school’s current
name of North Carolina Wesleyan. East Carolina University at Rocky
Mount? Rocky Mount University? UNC-Rocky Mount?
This is one of the strangest things for legislators to want to study. It smells of election year politics.
