Paul, I agree with everything you said. I saw the movie
on Friday night and thought it was very well crafted. Greengrass
(writer/director) uses a docudrama style that really makes the film
work.
I know some people may not want to see the film because of
a perception that the filmmakers are taking advantage of the
tragedy. After seeing the film, and also hearing about the
filmmakers’ legwork to get the green light from the victims’ families,
it is clear that this film is a tribute to the victims, first and
foremost, and a powerful reminder of what we are fighting against in
the war on terrorism.
