Of course Jim Rogers is right when he says:  “You
are watching something in front of our eyes, very historically, which
is basically the destruction of New York as a financial center and the
destruction of America as the world’s most powerful country.” But when he concludes that those who are responsible, i.e. Obama and company, are “nuts,” he get’s it wrong. To say that they are nuts is to suggest that they are irrational. I do not accept this conclusion. Indeed, they are quite rational and intelligent. If someone is committed to implementing socialism, from the perspective of rationality, what is the most important first step? Capitalism needs to be destroyed.
