Roy,

Gov.
Doyle may have exercised the same right other citizens of Wisconsin
have when he paid to send his child to private school, but whenKris Collett, communication specialist for the Milwaukee Teachers? Association, tells the Badger Herald, “Gov. Doyle has actually been a great friend of public education [before his deal to raise the cap on vouchers],” I think it is hypocritical of Doyle to oppose vouchers.

If
the governor doesn’t think the public schools work, he should either
dismantle the public school system and save taxpayers the money or open
it up to competition. If he thinks the public schools are worth
supporting with tax dollars, he should have sent his children there.

The WSJ may have called him a hypocrite for the wrong reason, but he’s still a hypocrite.
