On Sunday, a Raleigh News & Observer reader responded in a letter to the editor about Lindalyn Kakadelis’ recent N&O column about the No Child Left Behind law and the importance of providing options. “Lindalyn Kakadelis, representing the John Locke Foundation, opines that funding more charter schools without opposition from the “educational establishment” will help our county and state do a better job helping all students achieve success. I await, without much hope, the formation of the John Locke Charter School, with students randomly selected, to prove once and for all that Kakadelis and her cohorts have the formula to success in educating one and all. I wish them luck!” Thursday night, Kakadelis was a guest on WTKF’s “Lockwood Phillips Show” to address a variety of education issues.
