On Wednesday, JLF provided Charlotte/Mecklenburg and Triad-area supporters with a glimpse of history when former U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese spoke to groups in both locations. In Charlotte, a large crowd gathered for a luncheon, followed by an evening reception in Winston-Salem. During the day, Meese was a guest on WWNC-AM in Asheville with substitute host Chad Adams (see Western Influence item above). He also was interviewed by Keith Larson on WBT-AM in Charlotte and by Sen. Robert Pittenger for Charlotte Community Television.
