Don’t you recall that cataclysmic moment in Hocus Pocus when the Sanderson sisters discover that All Hallows Eve has become nothing but a night of frolic for children? They were really teed-off.

I think we should respect the fact that actual witches, who get only this one night after all, would be righteously incensed. Not only do we mock their beliefs, but towns routinely change the date on which the mocking takes place. I think we’re just asking for trouble (double trouble, even) with this approach.
