It is 7:30pm. Our garbage has been picked up in the AM and yet no sign of recyclable pick-up. Charlotte city government 311 helpfully adds us to a mysterious “missed” list — which would have to include several hundred homes with untouched green bins.
My guess, sanitation crews were completely overwhelmed by the amount of recyclable material they encountered across South Charlotte today.
