That’s the latest as Sen. Trudy Wade’s Guilford County partisan school board bill works its way through the House.
Bad news for opponents is the bill no longer needs DOJ pre-clearance; good news is if it were to pass, someone could file suit, a lower court could overturn it and the Supreme Court could throw it out when the state of North Carolina refuses to defend it.
