The budget debate featured on NBC 17’s “At Issue” two weeks ago led to an invitation this week for Donna Martinez to appear on “Prosperity Today,” produced by Americans for Prosperity North Carolina. Martinez joined the State Government Radio program (570 AM in Raleigh) to discuss Governor Easley’s proposed tax increases, as well as the odds for a state lottery, and the role of government. Meanwhile, Richard Wagner took up spending issues and a Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) in a commentary published recently in the Garner Times and the Taylorsville Times.
