We often hear of law enforcement agents posing as drug dealers for what used to be known as entrapment. It causes one to wonder how much dealing would be going on without government operations. Although I despise having to explain jokes so much they are no longer funny, I shall call attention to an ambiguous sentence from a City of Asheville staff report pertaining to drug confiscations:
The federal drug seizure program is an equitable sharing program which divides the illegal proceeds from drug dealing between the federal government and local law enforcement agencies.
It would be funny if somebody else told it.
