Rock, paper, scissors, that is. The organizers of a rock, paper, scissors tournament in Toronto this week are advocating that their child’s game be used to settle all kinds of disputes. Maybe not war-and-peace issues but smaller societal conflicts. Says Tournament Director Graham Walker:

“It’s the simplest, fairest way to make a decision or resolve a conflict.”

OK, if that’s so, why does the Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament need 16 referees?
