The anti-business effort by the National Labor Relations Board to prohibit Boeing from locating a manufacturing plant in South Carolina has drawn a clear rebuke from the U.S. House of Representatives. Rep. Tim Scott’s bill, to prevent NLRB from forcing site decisions on business, passed the House 238-186.
Republican Rep. Renee Ellmers (2nd district) voted YES.
Democratic Reps. Brad Miller (13th district) and David Price (4th district) voted NO.
Meantime, Rasmussen polling shows that 64% of Americans believe Boeing DOES have the right to locate its plant in South Carolina.
