N.C. Senate Republicans have sent letters to President Bush, the state’s congressional delegation, and the two major-party presidential candidates endorsing federal action to move forward with “drilling in ANWR and exploration and drilling for oil and natural gas off the coast of North Carolina along the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS), 45 to 100 miles offshore.”
