WLTT’s Chad Adams invited Michael Sanera this week to participate in the Wilmington radio station’s morning show. The John Locke Foundation’s director of research and local government studies discussed local transit projects, congestion, and traffic calming. Sanera also plugged his recent planners’ glossary and the soon-to-be-released Agenda 2010 report. Vice President for Research and Resident Scholar Roy Cordato also earned radio air time. He discussed Mecklenburg County ozone data during an appearance with Tara Servatius on WBT. Meanwhile, Terry Stoops, Director of Education Studies, joined WPTF Radio’s Bill LuMaye to discuss a new report on dubious questions included on North Carolina public schools’ end-of-grade economics and history tests. Stoops’ recent column on state budget provisions that attack public charter schools attracted attention from the Durham Herald-Sun, N.C. Senate Republicans, and the Edspresso.com website.
