This might be old news to you Washington insiders, but it is new to me.
On the ABC’s “This Week” Sunday morning, one of the guests said that Secretary State Condoleezza Rice attended Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform “Wednesday” meeting. She is only sitting secretary of state to ever attend the weekly gathering of Washington’s conservative movement leaders.
George Will said that the week before Senator Lieberman told him in the “This Week” green room that Rice was actively seeking the VP nod from McCain.
