Most of this week, Rick and Donna Martinez have filled in for Bill LuMaye.  During his absence, the conservative duo added erudite leaven to the political and social discussions in the state.  Virginia’s state climatologist, Pat Michaels, following a brilliant presentation in front of our states’ Legislative Commission on Global Climate Change, appeared on the show to share his insights with North Carolinians interested in the debate.  In the face of what he believes is anthropogenic climate change, Michaels suggests that the state do nothing.  What change that is occurring isn’t catastrophic, and even if it were, by the time it could potentially affect the planet, carbon-based, CO2 emitting fuels will be a thing of the past.  Lindalyn Kakadelis interviewed with Rick and Donna on their more-regular gig, State Government Radio.  Here, Lindalyn went inside the Charlotte-Mecklenburg system on the private reform task force, the superintendent search, and what the lasting specter of the failed bond initiative has done to the public’s confidence in school leadership. WBT morning radio interviewed Lindalyn on similar topics.
