Somewhere out there today Rufus D. Lynx is sending his resume out, seeking alternative employment now that Charlotte’s NBA franchise is replacing him with a big bug.

As the Bobcats, in 10 years, Charlotte’s second NBA franchise produced a meager .361 regular-season winning percentage (293 wins and 515 losses) with but two winning seasons, the worst season in NBA history (lowest winning percentage), some truly inept decisions (see: Adam Morrison, Sam Vincent, Mike Dunlap…), ugly uniforms, and zero playoff wins. Hopefully the return of the Hornets brand will bring Charlotte’s long-suffering basketball fans a bit more to cheer about.
