I have to disagree with Paul about Rod Stewart’s
vocals. It is not an issue of whether I like him or not, but I
actually think he is an excellent vocalist. I have taken a quick
poll (sample size is one person who I will allow to remain nameless)
and he/she agrees with me.
In fact, this dispute on vocals
reminds me of the issue of property rights and eminent domain. That’s
my transition to property rights, seamless as if there never was a
transition.
Here is a good article
in the LA Times discussing how virtually every state is seriously
addressing eminent domain and the Kelo decision. It also
discusses some eminent domain abuse in New Jersey. Hopefully
North Carolina will be one of the states that takes strong action to
protect property rights.
