A community is mourning the sudden death of a county clerk of court. Robynn Spence’s family says she died Sunday morning from complications from Pneumonia. Her former co-workers in the Rutherford County courthouse honored Robynn, by wearing orange, her favorite color. Many also pinned orange ribbons on their shirts. A memorial is set up in the courthouse lobby, with flowers and pictures. Former co-workers say they’ll never forget Robynn’s spirit, and are having a difficult time with the sudden death. A prayer meeting was held in the courthouse Monday morning in Robynn’s honor. No word yet on funeral arrangements. An acting or interim clerk will be appointed this week.
