Donnie H. Henson won the Democrat primary for clerk of superior court; Robynn Spence, the Republican. Randy Bennett won the Republican primary for coroner; a race that had no Democrat primary. Bill Eckler, Gail McBrayer Strickland, Rob Bole, and Julius R. Owens won races for county commissioner seats. Chris Francis won the Republican primary for sheriff.
