It is on.

Jim Morrill relates that, “State Rep. Drew Saunders has come out swinging in his Democratic primary against Nick Mackey.”

Saunders goes on to point out that Mackey had trouble representing a single legal client in a courtroom and asks, “If he did not represent one person in the heart of Charlotte, how can we expect him to represent 67,000 people while working out of the State Capitol in Raleigh?”

Zing! But then again, Drew Saunders never represented 67,000 people in Raleigh either. He represented the Jim Black Gang. Let’s see if all the PAC money flows back to Saunders as he tries to hold off Mackey in the next few weeks.
