The folks who squeal anytime someone wants to build a road on the tundra are now going to build a huge vault near the North Pole to store seeds. They’re calling it the Noah’s Ark of Food and it is being blasted into permafrost and mountain rock in anticipation of the certain global catastrophe that liberals see in our future.

But if a few car tracks scar the tunda for hundreds of years (as they tell us) what will heavy equipment and dynamite blasting do the the high arctic? Will polar bears, arctic foxes and seals be scared away? Will Inuits starve as a result? The people behind this crackbrained idea don’t seem to know or care. They also don’t seem to have considered that, with global warming a certainty, getting plants to grow is the least of our worries.
